This team started with just a few guys getting on the radio, chewing the rag, sharing stories, and making something meaningful out of what began as a simple conversation. Before long, we realized our area needed more than just repeaters—it needed a strong, welcoming radio community that people could rely on.
One conversation led to another, and one repeater led to the next. What began as a small group of radio enthusiasts quickly grew into a shared mission: to build a dependable radio network and a close-knit community that fits into our everyday lives.
Our mission is to bring people together through a shared enjoyment of radio while building a welcoming and dependable communications community. We believe radio should be fun, friendly, and available to everyone who wants to learn, participate, and connect with others. Whether we are checking in during the daily commute, talking with friends across the region, helping during severe weather, or simply enjoying good conversation, our goal remains the same—to bring people together through amateur radio and create a network built by the community, for the community.
Through our repeaters, community nets, severe-weather monitoring, and everyday conversations, we work to create lasting friendships, support our neighbors, and provide reliable communications throughout the Texas Hill Country. Whether we are chewing the rag, helping a new operator, sharing important information, or assisting during a time of need, we are committed to enjoying radio while serving the communities we call home.

Our community is built and supported by local GMRS and amateur radio operators with a desire to serve the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We welcome everyone—from experienced operators to those who are just beginning their journey into radio.
Reliable Hill Country Communications
Our repeaters provide dependable radio communications across the rugged hills and remote areas of the region. They help keep people connected in places where cellular service may be weak, unreliable, or completely unavailable.
Our Coverage Goal
We are working toward continuous radio coverage from the San Saba River to the Blanco Bend. As our community grows, we will continue expanding into surrounding counties and connecting more towns throughout the Texas Hill Country.
What Our Systems Support
Our systems support everyday conversations, organized community nets, travel and road coordination, ranch communications, severe-weather monitoring, and emergency backup communications when other services may be unavailable. Most importantly, they provide a place for operators throughout the region to meet, build friendships, and stay connected.
Free for Licensed Operators
Our GMRS repeaters are free for licensed GMRS operators, while our amateur repeaters are available to licensed amateur radio operators. These systems are made possible through the time, equipment, knowledge, and continued support contributed by members of the community.
